Cliveden is one of the most visited National Trust properties in the UK. The house is now an exclusive hotel (Meghan Markle stayed there before her wedding day).

Cliveden’s impressive gardens and majestic woodlands capture the grandeur of a bygone era. There is so much to do in the grounds. The most child-friendly section is the water garden. As well as a beautiful lake with a little island, there’s a maze and a very impressive storybook themed playground. The maze is relatively difficult but it’s impossible to get lost in there, if you just keep going you’ll get there eventually. The lake is full of very friendly, and massive, Koi Carp.
